Strictly Come Dancing returns to screens for Week Three’s Movie Week special live tonight, Saturday 8 October, as the glitzy celebrities take to the dance floor with their new partners once again.
Week Two saw CBeebies star Molly Rainford and her pro partner Carlos Gu emerge victorious and top the leaderboard thanks to their dazzling Quickstep.
But it was an early exit for Kaye Adams as she and partner Kai Widdrington failed to impress with their Charleston.
The 20th series of Strictly is once again hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, with Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke returning as judges
Alongside this, the Strictly spin-off It Takes Two is also back on screens, hosted by Rylan Clark and former professional dancer Janette Manrara.

What time is Strictly on tonight and what will happen?
Strictly Come Dancing is returning to BBC One screens tonight at 6:30pm with its third live show – a Movie Week special.
The couple’s will take to the dancefloor for their third performances of the season in front of the judges, performing to songs from much loved films throughout the years.
And following on from last week’s first public vote of the competition, the pressure is well and truly on to get their steps right as the phone lines will once again open after the show for fans to vote for their favourite routines.
The show will air live every Saturday throughout the autumn, with the final typically airing on the last Saturday before Christmas.
Its spin-off show, It Takes Two, will continue to air weeknights on BBC Two – with Rylan Clark and Janette Manrara taking the helm as hosts.

When is the Results show and how does the voting work?
The second results show of the series starts on Sunday 9 October at 7.20pm, beginning after the Antiques Roadshow.
The results show has a shorter running time to the main show, airing until 8pm.
Each week Strictly Come Dancing viewers vote for their favourite couple either by phone or online, and these votes are combined with the scores given by the judging panel for their performances.
The two couples with the fewest votes then go head-to-head in the dance-off, delivering a reprisal of their performance from the live show.
The judges then decide which couple they would like to save, and in the event of a tie head judge Shirley Ballas is given the casting vote.

What happened in Week Two?
Strictly Come Dancing’s second live show of the series hit BBC One last Saturday evening, with the 15 couples facing the first public vote of the series.
And topping the leaderboard was Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu- who scored an impressive 34 points out of 40 with their Quickstep performance as they closed the show.
Molly and Carlos took to the dancefloor in bright pastel coloured suits as they danced a Quickstep to a cover of Beyonce’s Love on Top – which Molly admitted was her ‘favourite song’.

Second on the leaderboard was Richie Anderson and Giovanni Pernice, as they took to the dancefloor with a Quickstep dance.
Bagging 32 out of 40 points, just two below Molly, the performance was dubbed ‘absolutely beautiful’ by judge Motsi Mabuse.
Meanwhile, Fleur East got emotional following her performance, shedding a tear as she admitted emotions had ‘built up’ throughout the week’.

Breaking down in tears following the dance, host Tess explained how nice it was to ‘see a different side’ to the X Factor star.
‘Every day I’ve been building it up and getting ready to unleash it,’ said Fleur backstage of her emotion – as judge Shirley also appeared emotional too.
Elsewhere, it was a three-way split at the bottom of the leaderboard, with Tony Adams, Kaye Adams and Matt Goss all only managing to bag 22 points out of 40.

Who got eliminated last week?
The first Results Show of the series saw Kaye Adams become the first contestant to be eliminated from the series.
The Loose Women star and her pro partner Kai Widdrington failed to impress with their Charleston to Music! Music! Music! by Dorothy Provine.
The couple faced singer Matt Goss and his partner Nadiya Bychkova in the dance-off, with the broadcaster ultimately given her marching orders.

Speaking after three of the four judges opted to vote her out, Kaye admitted it was the ‘right result’.
Reflecting on her brief Strictly experience, Kaye admitted she had no argument with the judges’ decision to let her go.
She said: ‘It was the right result and I did make mistakes, and when it comes to that high pressured situation that’s what happens.
‘So I am delighted for Matt and Nadiya, the only person I am just sorry for is this wonderful man [Kai], who has just been so brilliant…It was a hell of a lot of fun, I said my ambition was to learn to love to dance, and actually I have seen a whole new side to myself, it’s opened a little door.
‘It’s been a wonderful experience and to spend time with such talented people who love the show so much has been a joy!’

Who are the Strictly 2022 pairings?
After being crowned series champion with Rose Ayling-Ellis, this year’s Strictly sees Giovanni Pernice take to the floor with DJ Richie, who had confirmed ahead of the series that he would be dancing with a male partner.
Elsewhere, Helen Skelton is paired with Gorka Marquez after becoming a last-minute addition to the show, while Katya Jones is partnered with footballer Tony Adams.

After giving it their all on the dancefloor last week in the Week Two performances, the 14 remaining celebrity contestants and their partners will have to learn a brand new routine for Week Three’s Movie Week special.
