Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2022: Rita Ora leads arrivals

The celebrities were out in force for the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards 2022 held at Outernet London on Tuesday night. 

Leading the fashionable arrivals at the star-studded event were daring Rita Ora, busty Ashley Roberts, Rochelle Humes, Emily Atack and AJ Odudu.

Hot Right Now hitmaker Rita, 31, revealed her toned figure in a sheer black strappy dress which revealed her skimpy underwear underneath. 

Rita commanded attention in the barely-there gown which skimmed over her gym-honed physique and was teamed with stilettos and statement jewellery.

Rita wore her dirty blonde tresses in loose waves over her shoulders and opted for a bronzed makeup look while working her magic on the red carpet. 

Also making an appearance, 36-year-old Pussycat Doll Ashley left very little to the imagination in a daring plunging silver dress that revealed her ample assets as she posed up a storm on the red carpet.

Ashley made sure all eyes were on her in the number which plunged down to below her belly button and was semi-sheer to an another racy element to the look.

To complete her sexy look she boosted her height with matching heels and a glitzy bag while wearing her blonde tresses in curly waves and opting for glamorous makeup.

Elsewhere presenter Rochelle flashed some leg in a thigh-split black dress that also showed off her cleavage, which was teamed with a tassel bag and strappy heels.

Also attending were pregnant Katherine Ryan, Rachel Stevens, Edith Bowman, Anne Marie and Myleene Klass who all looked stunning in their stylish outfits.

The Glamour Awards is an annual set of awards hosted by Glamour magazine. 

Woman of the Year awards honour ‘extraordinary and inspirational’ women from a variety of fields, including entertainment, business, sports, music, science, medicine, education and politics.

Past winners include the likes of Nicole Kidman, Naomi Campbell, Angelina Jolie, Lady Gaga and Victoria Beckham. 

Radiant: Rochelle wore her dark tresses in a sleek cropped do and opted for impeccable makeup complete with a slick of lip gloss

The Women of the Year awards also celebrate new talent, whether it’s rising stars or activists running incredible campaigns, such as one of last year’s winners, Amika George, who successfully campaigned for free period products to be made available in England in 2020.

It comes after earlier this month Emily Atack reportedly split from her boyfriend Liam McGough, just two months after going Instagram official with him.

The star is thought to have parted ways with the former Big Brother contestant and tree surgeon, 37, recently.

A source told The Sun: ‘Emily and Liam have been friends for a long time and were together for seven months, but sadly have decided to separate.

‘They kept their relationship private for a while and only went public when the news broke that they were together.

The Inbetweeners star’s social media milestone further cemented her relationship with the former reality star, with the loved-up pair posing for a selfie over boozy brunch.

The TV star and Manchester City footballer Jack were said to have enjoyed a secret six-week fling while he was still dating girlfriend Sasha Attwood – something the pair have vehemently denied.

It comes after Rita spoke about her love for husband Taika Waititi in a rare interview after secretly tying the knot earlier this summer. 

The singer insists she is head over heels with the filmmaker, 47, and hints she is planning another big wedding in London for her friends and family.

Pop star Rita – who has never explicitly confirmed the marriage, although her close friends have – says she took inspiration from her mother Vera and her father Besnik – in her search for love after learning from their strong more than 30-year relationship.

She said on Jaime Winstone’s Greatest Night Ever podcast: ‘I’m in love. I’m very much in love. I’m in love, I’m in love, amen!

‘But I love love as well. I’ve always been such a believer in it and I’ve always felt like I always wanted the fairytale and that’s what I grew up loving.’

On her mum and dad, she added: ‘My parents have been together for over 30 years, so for me it was always about love and finding a partner and all that, so I’m really happy I did.

The hitmaker and the Thor: Love And Thunder director were both pictured with gold bands on their ring fingers in the days around their wedding – sparking speculation they had already tied the knot.

Rita and Taika started dating in March 2021, before going public with their romance that August.

The couple had an August wedding, with sources claiming they were planning a huge party to celebrate their secret nuptials with friends and family.
