It was another night of tension in the Love Island villa as the fall out from the Casa Amor recoupling continued on Thursday.

Things kicked off with a bang as Catherine Agbaje and Scott Van Der Sluis came to blows over her decision to recouple with bombshell Elom Ahlijah-Wilson.

The drama carried on for Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas as they continued to bicker over her decision to recouple with new guy Ouzy See. 

The Scottish beauty appeared to be second guessing her decision and ended up opting to sleep outside rather than in bed with Ouzy.

But it appears Ella may have some competition to win back Tyrique as he admitted to being attracted to fellow single islander Kady McDermott.

Fans slam Catherine for letting rip at Scott  

Love Island fans slammed Catherine Agbaje on Thursday night after she angrily let rip at Scott Van Der Sluis over his reaction to her recoupling with bombshell Elom Ahlijah-Wilson.

Scott was left devastated and single on Wednesday after Catherine returned from Casa Amor with Elom on her arm, while he opted to remain loyal.

Following his harsh firepit reaction to her betrayal, Catherine sat him down in the latest episode and automatically began to berate him over his response.

She tried to justify her choosing Elom as she noted he tried to get to know other people during their romance, while she also said that his previous firepit defence of their relationship was just about him and noted he was trying to make ‘everything about him’.

Furious viewers watching at home were quick to blast her for shouting at Scott, with many accusing her of ‘gaslighting’ him, with another stating she was ‘embarrassing herself’.

‘You haven’t even heard me, you don’t know what I’ve based my decisions off. At the end of the day, I met Elom and Elom is great. It’s given me more time to figure this out.’

Scott was quick to tell Catherine where his head was at as he replied: ‘Catherine, there is no time… out of the girls that came in you were my number one.’

Catherine asked Scott: ‘Do you think for a second you weren’t my number one?’

He said: ‘Well, clearly not… four days ago I sat everyone round the fire pit.’

The two may have to agree to disagree since Scott was adamant the Islanders got the pair mixed up for doubting their feelings for one another.

Talking about the group discussion around the fire pit, Scott admitted that it was for Catherine’s intentions only as ‘big things are how he shows his attention’.

As the chat continued, Catherine pulled Whitney in as a ‘middle man’ to calm things down as it got heated between the pair.

Whitney headed over and gently whispered to Catherine: ‘Cat, compose your emotions, calm down.’ 

Viewers hit out at Sammy for ‘lying’ to Jess 

Love Island viewers hit out at Sammy Root for ‘lying’ to Jess Harding for saying he was ‘thinking about her’ during Casa Amor.

Sammy locked lips with bombshells Amber Wise and Gabby Jeffry during Casa Amor and decided to couple up with Amber, while Jess arrived back alone.

Going for a chat in the garden, Sammy explained his reasonings for coupling up with Amber and told Jess he was thinking about her after kissing Amber and Gabby.

‘I expected you to come back with someone,’ he told Jess before adding: ‘Amber is a really lovely girl’.

He appeared to convince Jess that his affections still lie with her as she said in the Beach Hut: ‘I feel sorry for Amber.

But viewers took to Twitter in droves to express their displeasure with Sammy’s actions, with one writing: ‘Sammy, you brought a 19 year old back, you’re not thinking about Jess mate’.

Another said: ‘Can someone send Sammy home… I’m tired of him now,’ while a third wrote: ‘The lies tonight? Sammy?’

A fourth said: ‘Yeah Sammy, you missed Jess so much that you tripped, fell and brougth Amber back, I get it’.

A fifth wrote: ‘Sammy that didn’t like Jess and told the boys she ain’t his type, is now saying he missed her?’  

On Wednesday’s episode, Love Island viewers were quick to spot Amber’s fuming expression when Sammy spoke to Jess.

The 19-year-old daughter of football legend Dennis Wise was initially delighted when Sammy chose to recouple with her following their short time together in Casa Amor.

However, her joy soon turned to frustration as Sammy appeared to tell Jess that the door isn’t closed for them as she wished the new couple well.

As Jess graciously told how she’d accepted that Sammy had moved on, Sammy jumped in and told her ‘don’t speak too soon’, adding that he’ll speak with her later.

His words prompted a shocked reaction from an angry Amber who rolled her eyes, with fans predicting it was the moment she realised that she’d ‘lost him’.

Fans tell Ella to ‘grow a backbone’ 

Love Island viewers were begging Ella to ‘grow a backbone’ after Tyrique assured her there was ‘no coming back’ for them and that they were ‘done’.

The pair had been going strong since coupling up on day one, but after Ella decided to return from Casa Amor with new boy Ouzy she ultimately left Tyrique single, ‘ending’ their relationship.

And unravelling her choice to Tyrique, she told him that she still hoped for a chance to rekindle things.

She said: ‘I wasn’t disloyal to you though. I knew him before and I just thought I needed to explore it further. It doesn’t have to mean you and me are done though’. 

But furious by the whole situation Ty responded: ‘What do you not understand?

But taking to Twitter as the episode aired, viewers were left furious with Ella, telling her to ‘grow a backbone’ and stick by her decision.

One fan said: ‘These girls don’t know how to defend themselves’.

Another added: ‘Ella get a backbone. Stand by your decision and stop making yourself feel guilty. You chose Ouzy for a reason’.

‘I’d respect Ella more if she had some backbone about her decision’, another said.

Leah was left crushed during the recoupling when Casa Amor bombshell Tink revealed their antics together, telling everyone that their time together in bed ‘wasn’t exactly PG’.

In the latest episode, Leah sat down with Montel to grill him about what happened, with the semi-professional footballer attempting to convince her that the other boys influenced his actions.

He also insisted that ‘nothing sexual happened’ between himself and Tink despite them locking lips in Casa Amor.
