Anyone unluckily enough to spend this summer in London will be familiar with its steel grey skies, bracing cold winds and heavy bursts of unseasonal rain.
But not all of us have the luxuries afforded a Hollywood star, among them a rented yacht, private jets and a seemingly endless resource of cash.
Such is the life of Leonardo DiCaprio, whose list of overseas destinations since June could fill the average passport.
The Oscar-winning actor and environmentalist appeared to be taking a week off from saving the ozone when he emerged in Cannes at the start of the European holiday season.
But what appeared to be a conventional appearance at the resort town’s annual film festival has turned into a months long sojourn, with DiCaprio and a seemingly endless raft of celebrity friends trawling the Mediterranean between the south-of France, Spain and southern Italy as recently as Sunday.

So far Ibiza, Sardinia, the Amalfi Coast, Saint Tropez and Tuscany have been added to the itinerary – interspersed with jet-setting trips to New York City, The Hamptons, London, Florence and Paris.
The lengthy break has seen DiCaprio reunite with close friend Tobey Maguire, while rubbing shoulders with more than one unknown and highly unexpected quantity – among them British model Neelam Gill and the former Love Island contestant Arabella Chi.
Australian businessman James Packer, Russian catwalk legend Irina Shayk and American model Megan Roche have also joined the party over recent weeks but who else? And where have they been?
1. CANNES
It all began in May, when DiCaprio flew into the south-of-France for an official screening of his latest movie, the Martin Scorsese directed Killers Of The Flower Moon, at the annual Cannes Film Festival.
Between promotional commitments for the eagerly anticipated film, the actor was seen relaxing aboard billionaire James Packer’s yacht with best friend Tobey Maguire.
They would later be seen on another sprawling yacht, with DiCaprio reported to be spending time with model Irina Shayk during his stay in the French resort town.
It would prove to be an auspicious start for DiCaprio, who’s European adventure was only just getting started…

2. SARDINIA
DiCaprio eventually left Cannes and made his way to Sardinia in southern Italy, where he was seen relaxing aboard his yacht with a stunning, bikini-clad brunette.
The Oscar-winner went shirtless, opting for a pair of blue swimming trunks as he joined his entourage on the top deck.
Alongside an almost exclusively male group of friends, one gorgeous female displayed her figure in a skimpy pink two-piece.
The actor, a noted climate activist, was later seen boarding a plane at Olbia Private Airport – which has its own private jet terminal for wealthy travellers.
DiCaprio he was joined by another long-time friend, the disgraced art dealer Hillel ‘Helly’ Nahmad, and Swiss businessman Ernesto Bertarelli.

DiCaprio was back on dry land after flying to the English capital in June.
The actor sported a black face mask and kept a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap low over his eyes as he made an early appearance at Machine Gun Kelly’s exclusive performance and private party hosted by Marc Jacques Burton at new private members’ club, Apollo’s Muse.
He later rushed out of Bacchanalia restaurant, where the venue is housed, with his entourage and crawled into the backseat of a black SUV.

4 . IBIZA
Chilly England was soon traded for the delights of sunny Ibiza as DiCaprio frolicked aboard his yacht off the coast of the Balearic party island.

DiCaprio appeared relaxed and at ease as he strolled along the deck after boarding the boat with the group.

5. LONDON (AGAIN)
DiCaprio’s whirlwind European break continued as the star was seen jetting into London with his father and stepmother in early June.
The Oscar-winner covered up in a hoodie and slate jacket, teamed with baggy jeans. He wore a baseball cap and a face mask as he kept a low profile while checking into a hotel.
The star was accompanied by his father George DiCaprio, 79, and George’s wife Peggy Farrar for the short trip back to England.
DiCaprio and his family were later seen dining out at Marylebone venue Chiltern Firehouse, on the same night it welcomed supermodel Gigi Hadid – the actor’s rumoured romantic interest.
DiCaprio and Hadid enjoyed yet another evening out with his father and stepmother the following evening.
The pair’s romance reportedly fizzled out in February but despite the apparent end to their brief relationship, the two were spotted together multiple times in May and have allegedly been hanging out again recently.

The group dined at Lo Scoglio da Tommaso, the a world-famous restaurant in the seaside village of Marina del Cantone.
The eatery boasts a private jetty an exclusive boat taxi service, which took Leonardo and his guests to and from their lunch.

Earlier that day, DiCaprio was getting quite the history lesson on Monday when he was pictured inside the historic Medici Chapel with his family.
The Hollywood superstar had a big smile on his face as he largely went unnoticed while out with father George, stepmother Peggy and another member of the family.
DiCaprio later joined Maguire, his ex-wife Jennifer Meyer and their children at the city’s Boboli Gardens, where they were seen waiting in line with other tourists.

DiCaprio had just hopped on board following a dip in the sea, as a member of the crew waited attentively with a towel as he clambered back on deck.

The longtime best friends were later seen leaving the Hôtel Costes in the 1st arrondissement before heading to a late night dinner at Loulou on the Rue de Rivoli in the French capital with model Neelan Gill.
The trio were accompanied by Maguire’s daughter Ruby, 16; his son Otis, 14; and Leo’s niece Normandie, 16.

For their daytime outing, The Wolf of Wall Street star put on a casual and comfortable display in a black T-shirt and gray cargo shorts.

Days later the actor was spotted arriving in the Hamptons via helicopter, with a mystery woman at his side.

He also had a small black sling bag draped over his shoulder with a face mask pulled down over his chin.
The Oscar-winning actor completed his look with grey shorts and white sneakers for his holiday weekend outing.
