Thursday night’s Love Island saw the couples heading off on their final dates just days ahead of the grand final.
Hours after branding Ella B fake, ‘Messy Mitch’ asked her to become exclusive with him much to the shock of viewers and other islanders – leading to oodles of drama that dragged in pal ‘Zachaliar’.
Meanwhile Tyrique asked Ella to be his girlfriend during their romantic outing but fans were still sceptical.
And Molly and Zach said ‘I love you’ only for their relationship to be branded a ‘showmance’.

Viewers watched as Tyrique Hyde, 23, asked Ella Thomas, 23, to be his girlfriend during their date.
The lovebirds arrived at a stunning courtyard adorned with flaming hearts as they watched a dance, before sitting down for a romantic dinner for two.
Ella told him: ‘I wouldn’t change anything that has happened – I feel like everything that has happened has made us stronger.’
Tyrique replied: ‘You’ve definitely opened my eyes to a whole new way of living. I’ve never been a one woman guy. Just being with you and focusing on you, I feel way happier and fulfilled.’

Early morning outing
Love Island fans questioned why Mitchel Taylor and Ella Barnes were woken up in the early hours to head on their final date.
The couple were dazed when at 5am in the morning, they were told they had to get ready to head to a romantic location for a performance from musician and cellist Hauser.
Unbeknownst to Ella, 23, Mitchel had confided to the boys he felt the relationship was ‘forced’ the night prior after finding themselves in the bottom three.
But Mitch, 26, didn’t tell Ella his thoughts during the date and instead asked if they could become exclusive.
Fans watching took to Twitter to comment on the early wake-up call.
One wrote: ‘Not their date being at the crack of dawn while they’re tired as hell’.

During the date, Mitch said: ‘I’m very happy with how we are right now and this is exactly who I want to be spending this date with.’
Ella B told him: ‘To be honest from the moment we had that date, I just knew we had a connection.’
While Ella B and Mitch are out of the Villa on their final date, Zach told Molly Marsh about the comments Mitch made in the bedroom the previous night.

After Scott and Abi’s dumping the previous evening, Mitch was quick to discuss his doubts over his relationship, admitting to pals Lochan and Tyrique that he think Ella cares more about her place in the villa than she does him.

The competitive dancer was on cloud nine after she returned from her final date with the gas engineer, only for Whitney Adebayo to tell her upon her return that Mitch branded her ‘fake’ the night before.
What’s worse is that during the date, in which they were serenaded by a harpist, Mitch asked them to go exclusive, with the couple discussing their future together.
As Ella, upon hearing Mitch’s accusations, then engaged in a heated chat with Mitch, she was seen breaking down in tears as she told how him how she had ‘genuine feelings’ for him.
However, despite feeling sorry for her, viewers at home accused the blonde beauty of crying fake tears, with one harshly remarking her ‘eyes are as dry as Mitch’s game.’
